If they fix it, the bloke is then left with a damaged car on records and inevitably it will be worth less. could you claim compensation in some way?
ps.... if this was you or I who crashed we'd be made to go on some driver awareness course or face being done for dangerous driving..... wonder is the same applies for our 'boy racer' officers? I doubt it.
