tbh sony are no longer that much better than other brands....toshiba regza range is class.....current r73 samsung range is quality and the new n73 range is the tits...but starts at 32".
the 360 is supposed to give out its best using vga but having it connected at work via hd vga and hd component on 26,32 and 40" panasonic's, sony's and the samsung's....if there is a difference, u gotta have super fuckin eyes cos i dont see it.

if your not arsed bout tv, as chandler said....get a hdmi dvd player which takes your dvds and sends more than double the data thru hdmi cable than a scart would giving u almost hd quality. then u can waste £500 upwards on a hd dvd player when their out next month.

Yeah, but you don't earn that much. You are always moaning about not being able to drive or have a car to get to work and uni, why not put this money towards lessons and a that? This is what I mean! Most people can't afford extravagances like this. It's probably going to set you back about 2months wages.

Don't be sad, you have a perfectly good tv at the moment. You should be thinking about buying stuff you REALLY need rather than a HDTV so you can see all of the wrinkles in Pat Butchers face!

It also makes me sick how students moan about paying all this on tuition fee's yet they can waste the loans they get.

Why should I have paid taxes since I left school to go towards a students HDTV?

I hate it when people post specs and they're really high resolutions. I'm a right one for high resolution stuff.

Can you get any 1920 x 1024, 8ms, progressive scan, hdtv 26" ones for a decent price at all?

I am being well lazy here I knew everything last year.

Why two HDMI and Scarts Lee?

I don't do drugs anymore and when I was I'd hardlies say I was spending all of my money on it. Maybe alot of me money went on petrol giving you FREE lifts to places.:wink:I'd say its probably down to how much I went out drinking.

I could afford a HDTV at this minute but there is much more important things to be thinking about. You live with your parents and you want a massive HDTV for ya bedroom. You could buy a car with that man.

and don't give me that shit about you learning to drive, you get one lesson every 3 weeks. Do what I said and book your test and get 10 lessons in the week before it. I bet you'll pass!!!!

The lack of support of most 'high definition' screens for 1080i is outrageous imo, the amount of people getting conned must be huge.

All 'high def' screens should be 1920x1080.

i agree, its pointless getting a 1377/1024 x 768 tele as its higher definition but not high definition.
