    I cant think of any nights which have K90 Live, Andy Farley & Jon O'Bir on rotation, to be honest with you.

    figurehead for Jnr Rekons: House music :camp:

    Mr Detox Had a really good point earlier on though;

    Thats a rather valid point. i dont really think that this mad credit crunch is really a good reason to call Newcastle's clubbing scene fucked either, considering that most of the people that are going clubbing wont really notice the crunch anyway (i know for a fine fact that i havent, and still dont really know what on earth's going on either).

    or rather people in the past have went out far too much in the past, got into too much debt and now can't afford to go out every weekend - to see 'that bloke' play 'that tune' at 'ya nah - that club'.

    if i wasnt covering about 4 people on paternity at work - i would sure as hell be out every weekend, but just can't due to my job. which is a right cunt tbf.

    and Spence;

    :lol:

    thats a bit ignorant i must say.

    i've worked in a pub/club/bar/'dance bar '(eivissa :monkey: ) for more than 5 years part time (and full time now through no fault of my own for owning up [through force] to catering qualifications) and that's just a generalised look at what the industries about.

    it's the pub/club or whatever's fault for employing these idiots in the first place - and this employing adults business is bollocks, if a grown adult is applying for a standard barjob he or she is obviously an idiot/stupid/likes working minimum wage at stupid times of the week, rather than a normal shite job that's through the day - and they are VERY few and far between and tbh would look a bit odd.

    i personally love working in a pub - and even though i'm nearly 21 i'm sure i know all the daft admin + all of the technical side of running a pub/club securely.

    but then again - when i havent had a drink i'm not just a blithering idiot on a forum :wink:

    (for the record tho - most of the barstaff i've encountered in newcastle are actually idiots. enough said)
