    Sure, you need big name DJ's and new talent - Promise had this monthly towards the end, and there was a consistently good turnout :up:

    The night will make money thats it.

    I better move would be to reinvent its self as it did when it played prog.

    Move to a smaller venue and start again still making a profit.

    Any brand associated with charva's will not be attractive to any other demographic other than charva's.

    If promise wants to go credible again in the future poeple will not go because the charva connections

    Ffs Some got stabbed in ikon a couple of weeks ago.

    In newcastle you can probably work hard to make no money from a decent trance line up while the trance nuts spend their money making out of town trips.

    OR, you can turn a profit catering to the masses. I have no problem with Promise doing this one bit. Im not sure why people care so much.






    Personally, its not for me any more and i much prefer smaller more intimate crowds like Habit or the rooms at fabic/turnmills - big room clubbing has just gotten boring for a great deal of people, in fact - you might just argue that all the people who started off when it was very popular... are now just sick of it all and would prefer something else.

    Kicking a dead horse wont bring it back to life eh.
