It's hard not to when you witness a DJ as good as he was put a Club & Crowd in his back pocket within about 3 tracks of stepping into the booth.
Sets like this always get me reminiscing & reet back in the mood.

I thought id missed out with the whole 98/99 'Crasher-heyday' era (when Geordie & Pike were weekly cybers @ the Republic;) ) but id be confident enough to say by the time you boys started to appreciate him you would have well & truly missed the boat to appreciate the OLD style PVD & what he became legendary for.

    Well said.

For as much as i was the laziest cyber in Gatecrasher (when i did go cyber) i very much doubt i will go to a club as good as Gatecrasher and see anything like when PVD used to be bi-monthy resident and see him lay that place to rest for 6+ hours when he did - from start to finish stowed off to fuck messes everywhere but everyones your best mate even people being sick on Pike ;) and never forgetting Carrera 2 and the bungee jumpers it brought with it

You were guaranteed a mint night which maybe i missed the boat a bit with only going from 01 onwards but im pleased that i did go when i did and that the majority of me good mates have too ;)

I'd agree on that there's only his 6 hour set and his set at Passion in 05 in the last 4 years or so that he's played anything like he can when i've been to see him. Such a fucking shame.

I'm looking forward to Jan though as by all accounts he's been on form the last half of this year.

I can, i'll stick it up over the weekend at some point if it doesn't get put up before then.

It's all about part 2 and him dropping his rework of Polaris - Ripple Driver

I was meant to be going to Ibiza to this very night but never ended up going. Luckily i caught him at his Vandit night in the october in Berlin where he played EXACTLY like this for about 8 hours!! That remix of 'Emerge' had the place going mental!

It was immense - by the far the best trance set ive ever seen, if not the best by any DJ! :king:

Its a shame hes so inconsistant nowadays though - but when he's on top form there isnt a better DJ imo.
