New track clip - Feet in the fire

Heres a clip of a new one that ive been working on the past week or so, titled 'Feet in the fire', after some slightly less than sober Leeds festival banter that involved me, with my feet in the fire.

See what ya's think anyways, bit deeper than my last couple and still a work in progress though pleased with how its coming along so far :)

like how u'v done the bassline mate, got a lush sound to it. ya seem to have a nice foundation there for the track to develop. quite moody, there's some cool sounds in there and the overall production's quite crisp. i'd definitely be interested in hearing the finished article! good effort ;)

so far so good mate, the bassline fits nicely under the kick with nice progression throughout the clip. could def cause damage on a big system. was waiting for more percussive elements throughout which didnt come. i think with a bit more percussion and a couple of drops here and their youve got a really good track. would defs pull the melody right out also!

    nice work man!

Cheers Mick, totally agree about the percussion and adding in a couple of drops, that was something that i was going to look at doing anyway so you've just confirmed my own thoughts mate

Did a bit of work through the night when i couldnt sleep (bad with flu at the min so thought id put the time to good use) so added a slight update :)

Cheers for listening and the comments mate, not quite finished yet though hoping to have it done in the next week or so. Know what you mean about the stripped down feel though, aside from a few very subtle changes most of what is on the clip is going to be how the track will sound when its completed and definitely not trying to change it too much.

Dont worry about the length... the finished track will be longer than 4 mins ;) haha. Will stick the finished article up when its done

wicked graham. cool arrangement man, the bass synth and the pitched down vox make the track quite ominous sounding as well. like the way the bassline ducks under the beat too, nice bit of sidechaining :)
