    I want a non constantly running, non hoggin Anti Virus.

    Fuck email scanning too, if i want to check i want to click "check"

    Does one exist?

    There's a control panel with different modules for all of the functions it has, disable what you don't want.

    Download the free version rather than the trial, it's got less crap in it.

    AVG IF you dont use pirated software as there paid by the big boys to pick key gens up as malwear

    Avast IF you do use keygens etc

    Kaspersky is the best protection bar non, but leaves a massive sys footprint.
