2013 sees the 15th anniversary of the Tanners becoming without a doubt, one of Newcastle's finest watering holes and the launch pad for many an idea that's kick started a club night or party off - over a few pints and games of pool.

In a proper Tanners style they will be celebrating with some special events through-out the summer..THIS IS NOT A ONE OFF!!.

To help launch the parties and the first Bank Holiday Sunday of the year, Justin Mills and 586 will be manning the Tanners turntables from 5pm until Midnight.

Both met at the Tanners in 2000 and were the original residents at "Reverb" - which was born from a session on the beers and decks in this fine bar!

Musically, expect to hear music from back to 98, way back and then right up to current day..All points covered - House, Electro, Techno and all points in between and beyond.

If you've heard them dj'ing in the Tanners, Scotland Yard, Northumberland Arms, Star And Shadow and many other places over the years, then you'll have a good idea of what's coming your way!

Come down and show your appreciation to Daz and all the staff that have worked there over the 15 years and have helped to shape and nurture this great pub, whilst keeping it 100% underground!

This is the first party to celebrate the anniversary and there will be many more, through the whole of 2013!!

recordings from "reverb" in 2001 from percy x and funk d'void, on the facebook page

search on "15 years of the tanners"

i've got about 7 bags of records to thin down for this, so between me and justin, it should be a rather enjoyable 7 hours of music!
