Basically, her parents hate me. Why? Well because they're scared of their daughter growing up.

No matter how many times I've asked, they still haven't given me a reason save for "The way Amy acts when she's around you".

What's even worse is that when she wasn't around me, she got "We dislike him even more now because of the way you act when you're not with him"! I mean what the fuck?! How can I work with such stupidity?!

I'm sorry Allie but I think her parents are well within their rights to tell their 16 year old daughter what she can and can't do. Try and see it from their point of view. Most people wouldnt want their 16 year old daughter travelling hundreds of miles by herself to go and see her boyfriend.
