    I've got a Creative Zen Touch 20GB and I like it. Easy to transfer files etc, easy to use software, good battery life, sounds good etc. Mines a bit bulky but I got it this time last year so Creative may have something smaller by now.

    If your looking for something that just plays music then definatly give the Sony NWA3000 a look

    Yes and a laptop will play mp3's but I think that obviously an mp3 player would be slightly more preferable.

    I've got that as well. Does the job for me - aye it's bulky but I generally have a bag to put it in so that doesn't bother me. :D Only other complaint is the headphones that come with it are naff, but that's easily solved.

    A few friends from work have bought Creative ones recently and they're smaller but still as good.
