    fair enough, its 2008 tho not 1988.

    HD is the norm now, u cant by CRT's anymore. I paid £1299 for my 32" sony, its about £450 now :eek:

    Currys were doing sony's second best 1080p screen (40inch) over christmas for £899.

    Watch one of them fuckers and then say your happy with your CRT :wink:

    CRTs still piss on lcds/plasmas when it comes to Standard Def, and depth of blacks.

    although ya right, when in high def the difference is very nice

    Personally i play my xbox360 at high def on a 70" projection screen (until it moves to my main room for 82")

    Honestly though fella, i dont know why more people dont invest. I understand you need wall space and enough throw distance for the projector, but having a screen that size, for less than a 50" plasma is too good to miss.

    the image is as clear as in a cinema too. ill post some pics at some point
