Yes that's right, we've somehow managed to blag our way through 4 years throwing some pretty mental parties, and generally keeping newcastle's underground party vibe alive and kicking while throwing parties in virtually every venue in town.

To celebrate we're taking over Foundation once more, and are pleased to welcome back one of our favourite unsung heroes of the last 4 years, and with a set at Fabric already lined up for early 2006 this should be the year things really take off for Technique's resident and promoterDAVE MARTIN...

Running for 4 years, Technique has established itself as the home of underground breaks and techno in Leeds, and a place where (a bit like Freaky) the residents regularly outshine the guests, anyway after his performance warming up for Billy Nasty in May, and seeing him at technique a few weeks back we felt it was time he came and headlined for us. http://www.technique.org.uk/

Testin Out Records top boy SUIBOM SERUM returns to Freaky for a full live set, and after getting inspired by Radiativeman's setup, this should be a proper live set with proper old skool kit... this will be class.

ANT GOULD, one of Freaky Dancing's original residents, makes a rare appearance, his last for us being the increadible set he did after Eat Static at the UNIversity in February. Ant is one of the true old boyz of the Newcastle Techno scene, playing techno through the 90's in any warehouse, forest or club he could get near the decks at, and an absolutely mind blowing DJ as anyone who's seen him in his regular headlining slots at the green festival will testify.

Mick Hedley is one half of renowned live techno act Elastik Trickery, released on Insert Recordings, ex resident at VIVA (newcastles premier techno night circa 1995-97) and consistently one of the best techno djs in town over the last decade, and a freaky dancing resident to boot.

Warming up we've got a new one for you, ROB BROWN aka TECHNICAL FOREPLAY, who won a slot due to sending us an amazing demo, of lush deep techy house... well worth checking out.

Backroom breaks duties are being carried out by GARETH HOCKING, resident and promoter at RESISTANCE, one of the best breaks DJ's on the local circuit (ask any breaks head) and seriously overdue a Full Freaky Dancing appearance.

Backing Gareth up are Freaky residents FUN SIZE JONNY & ELECTROFRIED, expect a fair few preview's of some of the class tunes mr FUN SIZE has been making during his recent weeks off on the sick following his near death experience.

Because we love you and know you're all going to be brassic, we're doing DIRT CHEAP ENTRY at ONLY £5 all night for everyone, as well as DIRT CHEAP DRINKS - £1.50 bottles, shooters etc.

yes we know it's the weekend after new years eve (trust us we're feeling it too), but it's a cheap night out and it's our birthday so...

yeah dave martin should be class... the others have all been Freaky Dancing regulars / residents over the last 4 years and don't really play anywhere other than Freaky up here so it depends on how often you come to Freaky really as to whether you've heard of them... exceptions being Gareth Hocking and Rob Brown who're making their full debuts for us.

Basically they're all class dj's who've got getting on for 50 years dj experience between them, Suibom Serum AKA Paul Smyth was voted Ibiza Resident Dj of the year in 1993 (or something like that), and they're basically the dj's behind most of the big warehouse parties that went on up here from the mid 90's onwards.

some freedownloads are on the testin out records site here

    hope that helps:cool2:
