    No - AVG is just an anti virus.

    i personally use McAfee Anti Virus and BlackICE firewall.... never had any problems with mcafee - although it does try and sell me it's spam guard and shite all the time.........

    I posted the links for Sygate and AVG earlier on in this thread - they're both free but there's also pro versions that you can buy (but aren't really that necessary - the pro versions are only good for networks). :)

    Sygate is a bit annoying like, bloody pop ups every 5 seconds, even when i click "do not notify me again" it does anyway!

    Have you people never learned how to use 'option' menus?!? :dunce:

    Go to Tools --> Options and check 'hide notification messages', it even says that on the bleeding pop-ups!

    Found out another reason why Norton is absolute shite - create a batch file and put in it 'NET STOP "Norton AntiVirus Auto Protect Service"'... that's what a lot of viruses and trojans do now... :down:
