How long does it take with nero? I use a scene tool. Specially designed to go straight from bin/cue or avi to dvd and burns it with menu. Takes about 20 mins to author a load of vcds to dvdr and about 2 hours to do a dvd full of avis.

    http://www.svcd2dvd.com/

It was originally for just dropping scene rips in to for burning to dvd, so just the bin and cues but it can do divx etc now.

right well it took 7 hours to transcode...

says it cannot write to disc of this kind

the only option was VCD, so i selected that, put in a dvd but having none of it.

    What do i do now?

Top Tip : IF you're a remmy with computers - Use Nero Vision with get with Nero 6 onwards to copy your illegally downloaded Lost Season 2 Avi's onto a DVD. it's easy. You can not fail. 2, 4 or even 6 episode per disk

    E-A-S-Y

can't see how people are going wrong with this.

Screech - what took 7 hours? what u using? u putting ALL 11 episode on 1 DVD?!?!? thats like 8 hours of HDTV widescreen DVD quality footage - no chuffing wonder!

Was 7 hours for the VCD format, my bad though, didnt realise i needed any extra plugins.

Got the DVD plugin, selected the frist 6 episodes to put on one disk (they are only like 350mb each...but adding all 11 said 17gb!) and let it auto alter the quality.

Set that off, said 1 hour 30 mins.

Much better  So will see if its worked when i get home.

How is it any different than recording it off your TV onto DVD in terms of law? Dont really get that like cos you dont pay for it specifically on TV.
