You're an ill-informed and hypocritical cretin.

You've gone to great lengths in the past to boast of your affluence on here and explain how it makes you a better person, and now you've got the almighty gall to accuse me of being an 'affluent toff', despite being in the debt that accompanies higher education and despite having never met me?

Moreover, your argument, if it can be called that, is very nearly as transparently feeble as your religious ones. Can you please explain how tagging on a metro, which has to be paid to be removed, reduces the tickets prices for the poor families you're so concerned about? Or do you think it's more likely that when it occurs a few pence goes on tickets prices to cover it? How often do you hear of the metro being suspended between wherever and wherever due to vandalism?

Oh, and Metro don't drive their advertising past your house; you chose to live somewhere in view of the line; if it offends you then you should have chosen to live somewhere else.

is this the new thing for picking on joe?

 artistic it maybe - but it's illegal and unwanted vandalism plain and simple.

I like the way they keep changing the name because they don't want to be associated with common vandals.

When I was about 14 a kid took the piss out of me for calling it tagging, apparently it was now called 'graffin'.

I laughed at him then about as much as I laugh at 'bombers' now.

Call it what you want, you're still a chav and your actual work, your 'tag' has less artistic merit than a poster in clintons. You could argue (at a push) that the action as a whole is a piece of performance art (as shown in those videos on the tube) but what you actually write is shit, pointless and so dated it makes skateboarding look fresh.

If you've got some real balls why don't you go round writing your real name on shop shutters?

    :)

Joe, the argument you're presenting here would be credible if it wasn't a certain fact that the majority of 'grafitti' we all see on a day to day basis is shitty quick-spray vandalism that people do to leave their mark. It doesn't have any artistic or creative flare, only an ability to spray a couple of letters in the quickest time possible before getting caught.

If all (or like you say, 'most') people who are responsible for this kind of tagging/spraying/bombing had a respectable degree of consideration along with an artistic ability to produce some attractive artwork, took over all of the shitty generic tagging then yeah, I might agree that it is better to look at than your average billboard.
