    exactly what you can take in hand luggage im of to Florida on Saturday anyone travelled recently

    any info much appreciated

    the normal. but just dont put any liquid or gel or anyhting like that in. itll get taken off you.

    You can take liquids if it's under 100ml, in a clear bottle, and sealed in a clear placcy bag.

    they have also got very strict on the weight, size and number of bags. some will let you take a lap top as well as hand bag some won't. the weight also varies according to the airline.
    they are very keen to get you to pay excess baggage as it's the new money spinner for them.
    once you go through the departures you can buy duty free and take any amount of liquids on as hand luggage.

    i've just booked up for my hols today and you're allowed 5kg of handluggage but it must be in a bag no bigger than the size of a laptop(basically so it can fit in the overhead cabins)
    as french will said liquids have to be under 100ml
    you are allowed to buy food and drink from the duty free and take it on tho :up:
