search on download.com for avi to vob convertors theres loads of them, then once its converted burn your dvd as a video dvd in nero

oh right just go to nero, then choose data dvd then find the file and hey presto
you need to convert it to vob files to watch on your dvd player unless you dvd player plays avi's
