    XP changing users

    why does my cpu cut my internet connection when me ma changes user so she can do her bollox on her account???

    can this be changed coz im sick of comin back in to find its been sittin turned on but DISCONNECTED for hours

    Tell her to switch users rather than logging off..

    If you log off it closes all programs and therefore theoretically it will close all connections too.

    Hopefully the connection will stay open..

    yeah, try pressing the Windows Key + L at the same time, this switches users as opposed to logging off. Much quicker :up:

    I assume you arn't using a router then? Just the shitty modem?

    That still uses a dial up connection to connect so logging off windows will close it.

    Switching users is the best way like, as this leaves you logged on and all programs open.

    Just tell ur mam not to shut down. I tell my mam this, but she still always shuts down!
