    Ive Got A Virus Again

    :cry2: :cry2: :cry2:

No idea how i got this one. :(

But basically AVG says i have 4 viruses, and it keeps blocking loads of others. Every time i click on a webpage, it blocks the same 2 viruses.

It finds these 4 viruses on a scan, but doesnt get rid of them. For each one, under Result it says 'Virus Identified Java/ByteVerify. And under Status it says 'Infected, Embedded Object' on 3 of them, and 'Infected, Archive' under the other.

Any ideas? What can i do?

It's the newest version, gets rid of spyware too - and fuck me, is it efficient!

Only problem is you have to use IE to run it :(

Anyways, if he has any probs with getting patched and getting rid of Sun Java explained in the other thread, he can always console himself here ;)

    Sorted. Cheers lads.

I just did a Disk Clean-Up and that removed all the viruses. Someone suggested that in one of Nana's links.

Mike, you are a very sick man.

I suggested the disk cleanup in the other thread, but that won't solve the problem, will just get rid of the symptom for a little while.

    I'm sick and proud. :D :cool2:

Uninstall Sun Java, delete the folders, apply the M$ patch, and stop using IE. Sorted

    Also i cant use Housecall.

Doesnt work with Firefox. I try it using IE, and IE 'encounters a problem and has to close' just after the scan starts, every time.
