Suggestions please.. I've just been tidying through my bedroom and moving things around for the last 5 hours and I've decided I want to re-decorate it a bit. At the moment almost everything is light blue apart from the pine objects and it's doing my head in. I'd like a club-style bedroom but not over the top. Nice lighting that isn't too bright, colours that are easy on the eyes but not too plain. I was thinking it would look nice with the wall that is most visible being all black, with a couple of wall lights at the top. So white light fading down the black basically. I don't think this would look nice at all in the daytime though and i dunno what colours would compliment it well on the other 3 walls. I'm going to get some bottle racks though :drunk: Anyone got any suggestions colour/light wise? I'm sure a few people here have their bedroom looking more like a bar than anything else
erm im not sure if you like the colour black Im not going to say its a bad idea...Perhaps something like a royal blue and cream would be nice though? I agree through the day black probably wouldnt look that nice and it would probably wouldnt feel nice in winter as its really cold colours and in summer its a dampner on the sun...what colour carpets do you have?

I'll show you if you like Erm.. I'm not going to go with the black idea it was just what popped into my head first when i imagined some white lights at the top of the wall.. Maybe i'll take a pic and put it in photoshop and see what looks good. Someone make me a 6ft godskitchen angel that i can stencil
I cant image that being too subtle.. Variety is good because atm all walls are light blue and so is my bin, my radiator, my blankets are a mix of blues, the doors to my cupboard are blue, I have a blow up chair than i let down because it was blue and i have a black light type thing that is blue. Blue isn't even my favorite colour.. (not that i have one)
no it's not related at all.. it IS blue I think I'll sort myself out with a LCD tv, freeview, divx player and a few new shelves in my cupboard to host the lot before i go painting stuff though. Maybe even get me a bottle rack too!
i am decoration my World Cup 2006 TV Room at the moment, its going to be metalic silver and matt orange, you would be suprised how well some colours go.
What about Midnight blue though? It's still quite dark, but not too dark, and would probs go with most light colours for the other walls. Like cream/beige. Think it could look - Me mates dad did his upstairs bar like that with the dark wall at the back behind the projectors and it looks good
well silver bottom half,,then a cream top with some mad mental oriental writing on an stuff (always starts spinnin when u go to bed after a messy one) but ive got most of it covered with mad photos of me at globals an ibiza an all the lads dun inn, parking tickets, flyers its all jus random
I used to have loads of stuff on my walls like that till my mum told me to not put them back up after she decorarted it
me best one is the cigar case ive got,,won £800 at the races between 4 of us. was me uncles stag do so we waxed the full un in town,,went to the bar in the pitcher an piano=2 bottles of the best bubbly £56 each an 2 cigars £35 each best nite ever (best thing is the drink an the ciggies were both rank lol)
