said so in the other thread, CFW's are already surfacing but waiting on current set of backup managers to be signed. won't be long till CFW + backup mangers installed - the CFW which natively support HD Games. the rate the scene is moving it'll be days, not weeks

Will there ever be a hack that allows you to play backups and use the PSN that new firmware wont fuck up though
possibly, sony will keep releasing new FW's but they can't do it EVERY week as it takes time to test it. it won't be long till there's a CFW + native backup support + PSN. then sony will counterstrike, and it will go back and forth like that
Just like jailbreaking iphones etc, patches will get fixed by the manufacturer, then some bright spark will just find another way of getting past it.
I'm currently running CFW 3.55, working online fine. till this morning, Sony have released FW3.56. However, a new CFW is already on the way. love the nerds.
