gutted..... ...i've just said bye to a work colleague who's off to florida for 3 weeks hols..... & also i just poke to a guy who said he didn't know what his user name was to set up broadband...i told him to read his welcome pack which he started to read out loud...the 1st thing it said was....your user name is your first name followed by your last name...what was hard about that?
did he say "who do i spell that?" or "is that 'F' for sugar?" or "your name? but it's my account" and endless other thicket remarks from muppets who ring helpdesks. Yes, i speak from experience!
he rang sales which is even worse than the helpdesk.....what a prick he was...even after he started to read it outloud it took a while for the penny to drop...even as he was hanging up i'm sure he was trying to work out what his name was!!!
there's still time for him to ring back and say " in capitals?" or "is there a space in that?" people without the brains they were born with shouldn't be allowed computers. Saying that, thats how PCWorld/Tiny/etc make their money. Selling joeys' stuff they don't need!
