Eldery woman conned out of cash

Police are looking for a teenager who stole an elderly Northumberland woman's handbag - after telling her she had won a raffle.

The woman answered her door to a youth in Cramlington, and let him into the house on Wednesday.

But when he had gone, she discovered her bag and the money in it had been taken.

The youth is described as about 18-years-old, and of medium height and build.
