Dont go north bound on the M1 What a fooking nightmare Theyve got about 3 miles of the M1 singled off into one lane .... out of said 3 miles there was only a patch of about a metre by a metre that they were actually working on :evil: Pushed for time I was stressing that I wasnt going to get to a gig on time, had just chilled out because we were nearly there when the motorway came to a stand still and it took and hour to move 100 yards Finally got to the gig about an hour and a half late couldnt play the full hour as I had to leave by 1:30 at the very latest to get to another gig ..... going back down the M1 there were STILL queues stretching for miles north bound and that was gone 2am There was abosutely no need for that much to be closed off :evil: Who lost their common sense when planning these road works Theres road works EVERYWHERE at the mo but this took the fucking biscuit and if I see one more traffic cone Im going to throw a flid So glad to be home!!
