does it effect your credit rating the more credit cards you have/get?

i always transfer my balance after the free interest period has finished and i always say il pay it off by time it ends but never do and not gonna pay interest when u can get 0% but just thinkin if i keep doin this will it cause hassel in future??

just got halifax one card and they doin 12 months at 0% on all balance transfers and purchases

Step away from the cards .......... theyre evil! I cant be trusted with them at all

lol i know when i first got one it was for emergencies but those emergencies turned into holidays and clothes :spangled:

i try not to use it too much tho

as long as u never miss payments and always make at least the minimum payment it has a POSITIVE effect on ur credit rating

it shows u can manage ur money and pay back debts etc.

instead of getting a credit card i saved a few grand up in a couple of months and just used my debit card, i cant trust myself with credit cards.

I shagged up so much with them my Dad ended up having to pay them all off so I didnt get in big big trouble

Wont be going near them again ...........

yeh as long as u pay at least the minimum it shows u manage ur money well and can meet payment deadlines etc. all has a positive effect on ur rating

the way to do it is as u are doing now as well...juggle them about...keep swapping your balance over to omewhere offering 0% interest...then move away as soon as it runs out.

that way u never pay interest

but im sure i read somewhere they were gonna stop 0% soon coz everyone was doin it and the credit companies are gonna change it to low interest or somethin like that.

Oh aiye ... My Dad payed them all off and none of them where supposed to let me use the cards again but my Barclaycard still worked so ended up maxing it out again within the space of a week Oops!

1st day i had me barclay card i went straight over the toon and got a brand new pair of decks! £800gone in an instant , took me about 2 years to pay it off as well - only used on ebay now tho

its just to tempting i think! Especially when ya skint

theyre the fucking devil in flat plastic form. i just spend what ave earned that way i wont owe anyone money

credit cards can be a good thing sometimes but i'll defo not be getting one anytime soon cos i'm lethal with my money
