has this ever happened to any one?

i received a phone to weeks gone monday. that i was sold over the phone i signed for it at the door, it aint been activated yet and i aint received a copy of my contract yet and im stumped..

i rang custumer services on the phone and they say i need to wait until i receive my contract and the phone will be activated with in 24hours...

that was what "3" said. i don't even know who sold me the phone as i was doing a job at the time.

    what should i do?

    panic?

Try ringing the network again and explain your situation, you'll prob still get charged line rental tho, even if you havne't used it.

if you've had it over 28 days then no, all contracts have a cooling off period, send it back REGISTERED post so you have proof you've sent it, with a covering letter explaining why you don't want it - they may try to charge you a handling fee though (bastards)

    Good luck x x

My bloke got sold an 12 month contract by 3 they rang him when the 12 months were up asking if he wanted to upgrade to another phone which he did only to realise his 1st phone was contracted for another 6 months so he's paying 1 bills

personally try and track who sold you the phone if you have no luck than cut a loss and cancel your direct debit

they cannot do fuck all within the law on a 'verbal contract' - say someone else ie sister/cousin ordered it for a joke, say it was em and you had nothing to do with it....

If you not happy and not getting anywhere, do writtten letter to em threating legal action over misconduct over cold calling!

Cold calling is well offiside and wont stand up, tell em they need a written contract or fook off!
