    @ Work

How does anybody actually ever get any work done?

I've got so much on but the more I think of it the more I come on here and tend to e-mail people.

I try to stop myself but end up logging back on after about 10 mins, even though I'm not missing anything. Just any excuse not to do my work but really have to:cry2: :strop: :cry2:

Think I have a problem HELP !!!:bang: :bang: :bang:

coz im mint   nah i always do stuff straight away when i get it or i hav things that i hav to wait to hav meetings to discuss first before we start doin somethin new etc. and everyone here is dead busy so i just get left to do wot i want really. :)

u just putting it off coz it feels like so much that u cant get the motivation to start it in the first place. if u break it down into wot needs doin first and foremost then set yourself mini deadlines it makes it a lot easier.

for example say u will do 1 hr 45 mins of work on wotever u hav to do and hav 15 mins to email me and graham :p

then another hr and hf and hav hf hr to hav a break and drink and neb about on the net.

They do for us. :( And get a weekly printout of every single site accessed and the time you went on it. Anything not between 12-2 needs to be explained, unless it's obviously work related.

The only part that annoys me is that certain people in higher places than myself get away with it. :(

i have a massive concentration issue, if im not on the net i'm daydreaming. last year i lost a job partially because i came on the board loads..

is there anything you can (seriously) do about concentration issues? i have the attention span of a fish on ecstacy.

And drink plenty water - but not so much that you're distracting yourself constantly by needing a piss. :D

I've been the same recently Nass - learning new stuff at work and my concentration has never been brilliant, but especially having been out of school a few years, it's shot to hell. :(

I've been thinking about everything way too much. I must admit, I go to the loo about every 45 minutes now, which is a canny bit. :D

Seriously though, I thought it might be drugs so I stopped them. I've not had a pill since november, before that it was july.. everything else is a no-go too. Rossy hates me. Lost all faith!

At first it helped, but now I need something to push me. Maybe a goal? maybe i'd work better if I was working for commission? It feels like I'm a thick **** trapped in a perfectly able body, which is a massive waste. I'm temping here and there, and I do have that job starting in May/June - but I'm shitting myself in case I don't perform - I try but its often not good enough, I always used to be slower at exams than everyone else as well, but I got them done and I got decent results.

If I lose another job I might as well become a taxi driver, but lose the fasionably late trademark our side of the family has been running for years.

i'll give that link a dabble

Well we all know that's not true.

Just do your best kiddo, no one expects you to be good at everything - some people just take a while to find out what they want to do in life, what really makes them work hard. You'll get there sooner or later. :)

thats the massive difficulty i'm having at the moment, i've wasted so much time. last year was a catalogue of mistakes, the shittest year of my life. its affecting me when i socialise, i was more chilled when i was stressing about whether we'd get in the village club @ the age of 15 on a weekend or getting served for that 1/4 bottle of voddie.

Nah mate, all of our work is timed on a daily basis everything we do must be input on a database. We have to reach 380 mins per day for 'base line'. then bronze is 419 to 430, silver 431 to 449 then 450+ is gold! Its a silly bonus system we have. :)
