It was all about Mickey Quinn and Mark Maghee when i was little, when i seen Maghee one day outside South Gosforth chippy i nearly arrived - ran back to me Grandmas got a bit of paper and a pen and he signed summit ! My First School (Gosforth Park) thrashed Shearers old First School (Grange) 4-0. I remember it quite well, because it was a few days after he had made his debut for Southampton (scoring a hat-trick against Arsenal as a 17 year old). Remember all them lot had just met Shearer cos he came back to his old school the day before. Didnt do them much good like! Memories.
