    Back to Back sets

What do you think is a suitable length of time for a back to back set. I'd say at least 2 hours.
What does every1 else think please?

Agreed m8. I'm talking more in the perspective of Dj's playing at my night and doing back to back sets, does any1 think they are a good idea?
2 hours or longer sounds good to me though:)
I doubt you'll see Sasha and Diggers playing at Twisted Logic:lol:

B2B seems to be a bit of craze with local nights at the mo.

True, I'm not saying that I'm gonna have loads of back to back sets/nights but I think maybe in the year, I will have some back to back sets in there. Loads of Dj's have sent me mixes and all of the ones which are good enough should play out sooner rather than later. Back to back gives them a chance to boost their confidence and play with someone maybe a bit more experienced than them which will help them when they play a solo set.
I'm not just jumping on a bandwagon m8!:)

Yeah Jimmy, i think 2hrs-2 1/2hrs is a really good time length for B2B sets!
Saves ppl getting bored with a djs certain style (even if they are good) and means other djs get their go aswell, imo! xx:p

I hate playing sets less than 2 hours on my own. I rearly play B2B. I would say no less that 2 hours, any less and you don't get to take it anywhere

I suppose with lots of people being DJs nowadays its a good way for the promoters to get more people on.

ButI have noticed some shocking set times

EXAMPLE (THE NAMES HAVE BEEN CHANGED)
08:30 DJ Double & DJ Beat B2B SPECIAL
    08:40 NXT Fooker

The solo sets at Twisted Logic are 75 minutes so a back to back set would be twice this, two and a half hours.:)
