To be fair he was probably about as big then, though back then he hadn't bought thousands of likes for facebook to increase his profile:

I think he'd have struggled to fit in anywhere other than first or second set that night, he played really deep prog then Tall Paul followed on nicely & took things up a level, playing more bouncy proggy stuff.

Rossy you are right, I have gone totally off on a tangent with this thread. The tracks being listed have brought back amazing memories and unbelievable tunes like this prog monster:

Aye, I just didn't want to be sitting listening to tunes in my bedroom with my hands in the air pretending I was at promise and thinking I was being duped.

Mint Proudy, had forgotten some of those.

I never personally heard this but Scot Project played so it must have been.

    Such good sounds.

Remember rushing my tits off on my first gazza's at the arena in 2002 when Scot Project played this. Then I went and sat on the seats with my eyes rolling into the back of my head.

To think my first steps into the clubbing scene came the month after Promise/Foundation stopped/closed. :(

    Fucking hell.

Done yourself proud there Gary! I had forgotten the names of all of those tunes but if I could remember, some of those would have been on my list. I just don't have this music anywhere.

I'm impressed by how long the breakdowns are in some of the olds trance? You don't get to the best bit til 2/3 of the way through! Like on Flakes... it goes on and on and on before my favourite bit.

Rah - Pole Position (Airbase mix) was one of those tunes I always wanted to know the name of but could never find it back then. I felt like I've heard that so many times in a club.

Rossy, are a lot of the tunes on this page from our first night when Matt Hardwick / MIKE were on November 2002? 11 years man.. fuck.

I feel like I'm hardly contributing and should be - so thank you for taking the time to find and put them on.

I genuinely think we are so lucky to have lived through that.. the generation just behind us missed out on a totally quality experience.
