Do 3 points affect your insurance or is it just fro young drivers? I'm 30, but only been on the road with a license for around 3 years. Got caught speeding other week, and got option of doing the course to remove license. My only concern with that is that is costs more than the £60 statutory fine, and I would need to take time off work. Cheers peeps
From personal experience, it tends to add about £40-60 per year onto your insurance for the time you have to declare it (usually up to 3 years). The speed awareness course is usually a better option if you can take it
speed awareness course will put you to sleep i have heard ..... shouldnt speed anyways , unless your in the countryside where they have no power for speed camaras durham have no camaras , only pc49 with his car
The speed awareness course is proper grim, I got done doing 38mph on the way out of my town and 41mph on the way back in within an hour because it was parked next to vans where they were doing maintainance on the roads. Schoolboy error.
