Saw they deleted that comment off the page after about 5 minutes of you putting it up, likewise with pretty much every other critical comment that was posted.

aye was tempted to go to this, glad a didn't get my ticket now, ws gonna get discounted one from work.
Didn't they already move this from Blyth football pitch to the racecourse for a bigger venue or am I mistaken and thinking of something else, seems mad to moe to a bigger venue without enough ticket sales to back it up.

it was originally at kingston park the rugby ground but moved to increase numbers, not due to local campaigns as they (ignition) had stated

ive also heard they only shifted 3000 tickets

Rumours abound that they are trying to move it to spillers wharf.

They'll never get that cleared, given the number of flats and the like round there, the council will quite happily stamp on any attempt at a licence given the noise it would generate...

anything with rodal involved is sketchy as f**k.

it wont be the racecourse being greedy at all, that is what ignition will be putting about to keep the heat off themselves.

not one to say "i told you so ....BUT!!!!!!!.....I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

here's a few things that made it destined to fail

1.generally piss poor lineup that doesnt appeal to the mainstream masses
    2.tickets way to expensive
3.being staged at a time when every man, woman and their 2.5 children and family pets are on holiday
    4.way insufficient adtvertising

Antony daly summed it up along with a few others when he mentioned getting an email out of the blue off rpm / kudos / ignition lot saying do you want to play without even knowing what they play...a classic case of you can play at this if you sell tickets....this is too much the norm these days.....completely amateur wideboy promoters with severe delusions of grandeur and plans way above their station...they want to buy success anbd dangle the carrot of playing an event if you sell shed loads of tickets.

no one aint denying that its bums on seats but what about offering djs the chance/option to sell tickets, if they are bang into that event and feel a massive part of it and the event is a good 1 well priced tickets will easily fly.........the sharks and wide boys miss this every time cos they dont want to put in the years of hard work it takes to build something up, they juts see the £s signs

i have said it a million times "anything thrown up/together quickly comes crashing down quickly"

now !!???what odds will someone give me of this moving to the upstairs room of the VERMONT???

the sad thing is the north east yet again becomes a laughing stcok , look at the football teams trial and tribulations, look at the love parade debacle, every time one of these things blows up artists look at us up here and think I aint playing up there they havent got a clue fucking daft northerners and often the people behind the scenes are arthur daley cockney wideboys with one mission: to make money, become semi famous, rod birds of the back of being semi famous and screw the punters

anyway WHILST WE are igniting the flame can we start a list of the stunts rodal and co have pulled to date in newcastle

I will start the ball rolling:

and in at nunber 1 if you can guess the next one its

    1. bumping marco v for his fee at the cream classics night making digital et al look like prize turkeys

    6.
    7.
    8.
    9.
    10.

I have left spaces for more insertions, you know you want to

that is all, but feel free to add to the top ten rodal roll of shame
