in my opinion there is no way that digital is the best large large club whilst there's no doubt it has some of the best acts on as clubs go it has absolutely no soul and the layout is horrendous but what the hell do awards mean anyway? mind you its good that they let Alan collect it like as he's a top lad
The G20 riot police are friendlier than the crowds in that club. Decent(ish) soundsystem and admittedly has brought back the 'big' names to newcastle, but i'd go to any other club in newcastle ahead of this place.

Can't remember the last time I actually enjoyed myself in Digital...... Possibly the last time Ferry was there and that was a long time ago
To be fair the last two nights i've had in Digital have been class and i've not had or saw one bit of bother. (van Dyk & Askew nights) It's not the best big club though, Having finally gone to The Gallery @ MOS this year it's by far and away a better club, about 2-3 times as good.
It's blatantly not in the top 10 'large' clubs in the UK like, but fair play to them for winning it. Well done lads. Maybe this will be a kick up the arse for them to clean the place up a bit.
Haven't had an amazing night in there since Lawler in late 2005 and that was mostly down to those "Shrek 2"s... Loved all the Shindig's, but I was one of those horrible "wish it was Foundation" people.... cunt.
The Funktion-1's in Digital are wasted. The same dance stacks at Beta in Denver are used as they should be; you can have a conversation without having to shout and your ears don't ring when you leave. They don't care enough to deserve this win.
