    The Globe launch party, Thursday 26th August, upstairs hosted by nucastle.co.uk

    Having been converted into a 300 capacity, 2 floor venue with an extensive roof terrace, the GLOBE launch party kicks off at 7pm until midnight. Entry is free. Everyone is welcome, and all feedback appreciated. We'd like to think of the Globe as an intimate, friendly and genuine venue for some great parties and events :)

    Very impressed with this place upstairs and down, it looks great.

    Favourite bit has to be the upstairs terrace and room, I think there's going to be a few messy sessions to come on there ;)

    Well done Vicky & Kerry, you've put in a hell of a lot of work to get it to where it is, here's hoping it takes off for the pair of you :up:

    Thank you to Michael Aitken, Tony Daly, Granty, and Graham for supplying the tunes tonight upstairs - your choice of music was perfect across the board. Just gutted I didn't have enough room to get the laptop in to record - maybe next time :wink:

    Yeah, I was very impressed with the venue. The upstairs room and terrace would be outstanding for a Sunday afternoon session.

    I reckon a couple framed pics or canvasses on each section of wall upstairs or even just one on either side of the booth/decks and one next to the bar would totally complete upstairs imo.

    Can't wait to see how the place takes off as it has massive potential to be a great venue :)

    Really enjoyed last night like, upstairs is a wicked little room with the terrace attached and was actually really surprised by it, as didnt know what to expect when heading down being honest.

    As already mentioned think the deeper stuff worked really well upstairs, canny vibe and was fairly busy right until closing which was a winner.

    Playing up there again on 2nd Oct and looking forward to it :up:

    The terrace you say?

    We're having a party there in 2 weeks (Saturday the 11th, if anyone feels like it.

    Full details will be announced on Monday, but suffice to say we're having the decks outside (subject to the weather holding out) and we'll be going all out in dressing the place up to be a bit unusual (we've actually enlisted the services of a theatre design company, so we've got high hopes for how it's going to look).

    It would be good to see you all there.

    upstairs has some character like, i bet the vinyls on the hallway will cause some talking points and the terraced bit is canny as well.
