how is that rediculous ???? its like the idiots who run up coke bills and say ' itl be ok , il get another onze and sell that 1 instead'

its a safer way to go about things , then the cash is there if all else goes wrong. however , im not saying dont do this dont do that , not every1 has that sort of cash to flash so promoting and putting effort in 100% and tryin to fill a venue is the only option , with a good act.
for some , it pays off , possibly like yourself , but for sum , they just expect the punters to come and pay there bills they dont have the cash 4..

personaly , what would you rather do ? sleep well after a nights flyering knowen you have enough cash to put on your night safely, or , run the risk of the nucastle board rippin into you when you dont pay up cos u did the old 'itl sell out trust me' thing

id rather pick the first - thats why i have ideas and havent put them into pratice , cash flow - and dont belive in chucky
