    I,Phone now on Orange

    Just rang them up as the i,phone got released to them yesterday, asked if i could upgrade but, computer says no :facepalm:.... I've got to wait till October next year for a fucking upgrade, the i,phone will have wings by then. Tried to bribe them by extending my contract & even upping the cost :lol: but they won't have it.

    I feel like stickin them n goin to 02.

    Anyone on orange been accepted for the upgrade yet?

    It was released on Tuesday. Apparently Apple have told Orange they werent allowed to open the boxes to put sim cards etc inside, so they have been arriving with the sim cards tied to the box with an elastic band haha


    The tarrifs are pretty much identical in terms of costs between the two networks, orange is only 2p cheaper or something. Major difference is that oranges 'unlimited' data is actually limited, and it's not very much, only 750mb where as 02 is supposed to be unlimited within their fair use policy, whatever that means...

    I'll be using my staff discount to get one on orange soon

    I take it the phones won't all be branded then with the orange firmware etc, which is good, as it saves all the pissin about flashing them lol

    By the time next October comes around and you can upgrade there will be all sorts of phones out that are better than the iphone anyway

    could always get one on contract, with insurance and then erm, "lose it" to some african blokey, claim on yer insurance and get another one, use the money you made from your "lost" phone to buy out the contract...

    the contracts with orange are tripe. i can get the upgrade but i don't really want it.

    orange have been absolutely shocking in terms of service this year. considering leaving them and shifting over to t-mobile for the htc hero...

    buy and iphone and get a free o2 pay and go sim with unlimited free texts and internet for £15 a month.... it works out cheaper in the long run
