fookin hell! what if it was an emergency and you were stranded somewhere and the thing needed to be hooked to itunes to restart it

im well shocked at that statement!

on a similar note, last week orange wouldn't let me renew my contract at a higher tariff without charging me 194 quid for a c905 "even if it was a £40 tarrif"

i could get the phone for free on a £30 tariff if i was a new contract

i ended up getting a c902 on the same contract as im on now but for 14 quid a month. i agreed that was what was best for me after all :p

    iPhone

Got mine jailbroken and unlocked with YellowSn0w... Fully working with a Three sim (including 3G web browsing). :)

Also, with a jailbroken phone, you can get an app from the Cydia installer to fully use MMS too! ;)

    Kind of, aye...

    http://blog.iphone-dev.org/

It allows you to install and run 3rd pary applications via an installer called Cydia. It's basically stuff that hasnt been put on the app store or apple won't allow on the app store. Suff ranges from MMS apps and video recording to Play Station and N64 emulators.

You install YellowSn0w via Cydia... That allows you to use a non O2 sim.

I sold my iPod Touch for £120 on Ebay.
I got £110 for my old N95 8GB from Envirofone.

Bought the iPhone for £280 (new) on Ebay.

I also got a free PAYG sim from 02 - You need this to 'activate' the phone initially. A standard O2 PAYG sim is fine.

With the software unlock, it's free. You can use the Quickpwn tool then install YellowSn0w.

It's only for software 2.2 firmware right now (2.2.1 can work but with tweaks).

Lots of info on Google or look here:

Is the jailbreak thing illegal? It sounds it.

It makes great business sense to rip customers off by making them think they're buying the coolest phone around, but nobody likes a cunt. Apple, you are a cunt.
