Aye i have been a Civil Servant for 10 years this year, its the convenience thing as to why am still there with it being 10 mins from my houe and i work in a Supermarket for me 2nd job which is about 15 mins away - i sometimes do up to 60/70 hours week work and for fuck all really.

Its now am starting to think i need out and applying for more things so i could just have one job, i have the experience of 10 years but its just finding something right really.

As soon as the weekends on at the DSS me names down, like id said lately its been ok for with going out n that cos i worked last weekend n didnt really go OTT when out so i have had this weekend off, will probs work next weekend till 2pm on Sat then out all day for match n end up ill the Sun

Aye, I'm exactly the same. I just plod along and have zero motivation to find another job. The only difference being is that I'm a trained chimp and don't have anything to offer anyone haha.

I save loads by doing weekend overtime! i go out less or if I do i come home early and rarely spend over £20. It makes a change from the £100+ I could easily burn in one night. Do that twice a week and you end up with a massive hole in ya pocket. I'm out tonight though but this is the first time I've been to digital in nearly a year.

Its worth hammering it man and its the way i look at it, id say the same about not spending much money but i always get me arm twisted to do summit and end up out till 4am Sat morn or Sun morn and then roll into work at 8am fresh as fuck, not.

I was doing ok for paying things off as well till i went out and bought a 37inch LCD for the Wii i got at Xmas

I think the most ive done is about a 50 hr week and i was stressed to bits.

The summer is class for overtime with my job becuase you only do 4 day weeks (but longer hrs). If you come in on your day off you end up doing a 45 hr week but it isnt too tiring because the work is pretty straight forward.

And outa last years leave i have been to Egypt, Ibiza and Goa.

The flexi time as well is a plus point at me main job, i get 30 days paid leave a year and if you work ya flexi like i do i get 4 days a month which works out at 78 days holiday a year

You can go away for a week and use only days leave

That's what I used to be like but I've learned to just go home otherwise I'll end up ringing in sick.

i was doing 60 hours a week for 6 weeks before and it was a peice of piss until the 3rd week, it proper took its toll, id get in from work and have about 2 hours to meself then have to go to bed and be up again straight to work, didnt get paid much either cos the robbin' fuking tax man had half, proper wounded. i was doing some double time a few months ago and it worked out that i was only getting just over me normal rate because the tax man had his hands so far in me pockets he could have played pocket billiards, havent done any overtime since, i just put extra graft in now and reep it in so called bonuses.
