Unbreakable It's just started on ITV....is it worth wasting a couple of hours watching it or not? I haven't seen it before, and don't know whether to watch it or rustle through my DVD collection for something else to watch. Anyone seen it?
Bit boring i thought. Watched Gangs of New York instead, like this film a bit more each time i watch it.
i watched it last night yeah but can someone please tell me what the fuck happened in the last 5 mins? samual l jackson had made all these accidents coz he was wanted to find bruce? what the fuck was the point of the film? please tell me sorry if you havent seen it!
*spoiler alert* elijah created all the incidents in order to find the 'exact opposite' of himself, (david) because he longed for a 'arch nemesis' he found him, but he just gets grassed up to the rolis by david and so ends up in a mental institution. there ya go.
Is this the film where whoever bruce Willis touches becomes the devil or something and starts whistling some song and becomes left handed? or am i very very wrong
Addition to that : Elijah wanted to know his place in the world - why he was the way he was. Thru his interest in comics, he realised that if he was this way - there must be someone in the world to opposite to him - unbreakable. And until he found this person he would never know his place in the world. He was the criminal mastermind and brucie was the super hero.
I went and missed the last ten mins of this so thanks for filling me in! i found it all a little strange to be honest :spangled:
it's canny good, like you say, slightly misses the point abit and could have been much better - but still a good story underneath. Samuel plays a fooking weirdo in it like...
