Go Sunderland!!!!! Set your sights high Kevin Kilbane says avoiding the stigma of being branded the Premiership's worst ever team is now Sunderland's most realistic aim this season. "We don't want to go down and be relegated as the Premiership's worst ever team," said Kilbane. "We can't be going down like that. "It has been brought to my attention and those sort of statistics are not good to see. It isn't the kind of thing you would want on your CV. "I'm sure the lads are all going to be fighting for the remainder of the season to avoid it. "I try to avoid looking at the league table but it's in your face, it's always there. It's always being brought up and it doesn't make good reading."
Cmon folks. Relegation isn't the end of the world. The Stadium of Plight will be so damned impressive in the 1st. And the space during games will allow the fans who do attend to get up and stretch their legs.
