Getting to Global Gathering for the weekend

Sorry if this has been covered already I haven't got the internet at home (apart from this pay as you go) so I don't have the time or speed to go searching for it.

I've just checked the event-express website and they only do coaches down there on the Saturday from newcastle. Me and my m8's are all up for a weekend but we're not sure how to get down there.

Anyone else in the same boat and/or have any suggestions? Driving down is a no-no for a load of reasons and a train would be too much hassle if we had to find our way to and from the train station (if its a fair distance from the GG site).

Any other coach services offering travel on the friday and return on Sunday from/to Newcastle?

    Cheers.

PS I bet you all miss my company :dunce:

bollocks to paying that much for travel. £35 is all i'm willing to pay due to Floriday 13 days after.

Looks like it's just the Saturday for me now then as there doesnt seem to be many ways of getting there for the friday without splashing out.

ps. Off topic, I told my parents about being arrested and not getting a visa for Florida etc but i said it was for fighting, and not MDMA. My mam wasnt chuffed that i left it so late to tell them but they are letting me come anyway. If i get caught out at US Customs I have to give them the money they've payed for the holiday :(

    We are driving down :)

The train is just so expensive :( But if I had to get it I would. I just wasnt sure how close the station was gonna be to everything as well, cos then you would be paying loads of extra money on top of the train for taxis and things

Were just staying in a hotel fairly near :)

anyone know if there's many tickets left for the saturday? we're all planning to get ours next weekend including travel with event express. I'd get mine sooner but none of my m8's get payed till then so I'm hoping there won't be any problems. Last year was ok so fingers crossed. The bubblewrap section/room should be worth a look
