Anti-Nazi League - Attack Councillors Regardless of what they stand for, the BNP councillors in Burnley were voted in by the people of Burnley & should not be attacked doing there public duty as councillors. However going to work in a cadillac is fooking wrong!!! Report from YAHOO NEWS Angry protests greeted the first meeting of Burnley Council since the election of eight British National Party councillors earlier this month.Seven people were arrested as more than 70 Anti-Nazi League protesters targeted the meeting in the Lancashire town.Protesters threw eggs and flour at a BNP councillor's Cadillac as it arrived outsideBurnley Town Hall. One protester had to be treated for a head wound. ANL supporters carried banners saying "Smash the BNP" and "The BNP is a Nazi Party". Separated by barriers, about 30 supporters of the BNP held up placards that said "Defend Free Speech" and "Defend Our Democracy". The eight councillors are the largest group the far right party has held in any form of government. The party added five seats to the three already held on the council in the May local elections, making it the second-largest political party in Burnley.
Education is the answer. If people learned the truth about the bnp and relised what is actually behind the false front, would they vote for them???? In unstable times why do people always turn to the far right??
freedom of speach, althought the bnp's principles are fundamentally wrong in my opinion, they are entitled to theirs, otherwise we are acting like facists ourselves, the problem arises when they act upon it with violence, with these protestors crossing the line and using viloence themselves, they have stooped to the level of the thugs they wish to protest against. Because the BNP point things out like asylum seekers, Asian council estates, black gun culture and explain why theses things are problems. The rest of the political system talk/bicker amongst themselves like they are still in 18th Century. FUCK BLACK ROD & ALL THIS PROTOCOL SHIT, LETS SEE MP's DEALING WITH REAL ISSUES!!
