has anyone ever been to the Blue Lagoon in Hexham, near stanhope.

Its basically a pond thing, with really blue water, in the middle of nowhere, where everyone goes to get wasted when its hot!

Im going with a few car fulls on saturday, so just wondering what its like???

ive been there a few times, mad little place, the water is blue as well...something to do with the rocks as it used to be an old quarry. the last time i went though the water wasnt as nice as people had been leaving litter and stuff when they had been. Didnt stop us having a jump in though

have a look to see if u can see the car parked right at the bottom of it also have a look at how high the rock wall in front of it is! the week before we went some kidda had dived off the top of it and broke his neck when hitting the water, had to be air lifted to hospital.

it gets well hot there, take bbq, some drinks :chill: and its a canny day out

will defo be having a swim like if its hot, will take the goggles to have a look for the car aswell!

I'm imagining some tropical rainforest type of scene here. I'm guessing there aren't monkeys and snakes raking it about the place lol.

I'd love to know where this place is i might get a trip arranged.

The water was lush, tiny bit of rubbish around one side, but other than that - lush!

I seem the car yeah, red mini!! lol!!!

and the rock face, which is HUGE!

nice one, aslong as people pick there shit up and dont leave all there litter it will be sweet

You would have to ask Kid, i was in the back of the car, and not paying much attention.

I know its just off the A69 to carlise, place called fourstones- its in the middle of nowhere, so you'd probably have to stop at a petrol station for directions.

It is actualy in the middle of a forest!

its 10 minutes from my parents and in the winter all us locals dump shit in it so when you tourists jump in you break limbs
