Make sure there's nowt left on the hard disk you're going to flatten. 1) XP Disk in and boot to it. 2) Select 'new installation' 3) it'll complain there's already 1 installed 4) delete the old partition where windows is 5) let it create a new 1 and use that 6) follow the re-installation routine. piece of piss you MUST delete the old primary partition where XP is installed or it'll create a 2nd XP installation. p.s. if there's any OTHER partitions on there. forget this idea.
