Sticking to its trance routes and relaying them to the awaiting Leeds public, the brand has seen DJ’s such as Lee Haslam, Guffy, Dean Wilson and Matt Hardwick rock it for them in Manchester. For a move to Leeds, the line-up and consistency has to be of paramount importance. After careful attention to detail, tranZgressions are proud to present Agnelli and Nelson headlining in the ‘Future Trance’ room, for the opener. Renowned for their superb work on labels such as Xtravaganza, Chris and Robbie have been extremely busy since their rise to fame. Hailing from Northern Ireland, the boys have featured on the ‘Essential Mix’ on Radio 1, as well as producing classic trance-belters such as ‘El Nino’, ‘Embrace’ and ‘Everyday’ as well as remixing for a whole host of artists. They have appearances on just about every trance compilation that’s worth caring about. Unsurprisingly, the two are cult heroes at places like Gatecrasher and will be welcomed by the trance following of Leeds. Joining them, Tangled’s Terry Pointon. His residency at the Manchester-based club has resulted in his own strong following to add. Amber D, also joining the line-up, can boast Creamfields and Tidy Trax’s huge ‘Magna 7’ to her list of increasing gigs. Fantasy Island’s ‘Rascal’ and Aaron Hunt complete the bill. On top of the bill in the ‘Funked Room’ is DJGRH, more noted for his hard dance production, promotion and DJing. Gary has DJed worldwide in everywhere from California to Finland, had production on Tidy Trax, gigged for every major hard dance brand and so forth. Gary’s versatility is unquestionable – brands such as Frantic, Tidy Trax and Riot utilise him in this sense. He is joined by Amber D, Rascal with an old school set, Giancarlo and Chris M. In a city and club dominated by hard dance and hard house formulas, tranZgressions are happy to present something a little different. “…This is an amazing opportunity for tranZgressions…”, begins promoter Dave Shaw…. “...by securing a monthly Saturday at Club Paradise, Leeds, we can now realise our full potential. It also means we can now bring some of the biggest names in the industry to play at tranZgressions and continue where we left off in Manchester.
