'The Boys who Killed Stephen Lawrence' BBC1 9pm Tomorrow

Stephen Lawrence died 13 years ago after being stabbed at a south London bus stop by a group of white racist youths. To date, no-one has been convicted of the murder, though suspicion continues to hang heavily over five now infamous suspects. Reporter Mark Daly has spent the past year re-examining the case. In this sad and angry documentary, Daly tests the alibis of the five youths - now men - and looks again at the inept police inquiry into the killing. The Macpherson Report would later prompt convulsions within the Metropolitan Police, after it blamed the force's failings on "institutional racism". Daly accesses previously unseen documents to build up a picture of Stephen's killing and of the subsequent investigation.

I urge all to watch this tomorrow night - could well be explosive and promises to unearth disgraceful levels of corruption according to Radio 5 tonight.

Pretty interesting. Looks like the police cocked this up big time. Be interesting to see what's done now.
