I don't think he supports revisionism, it's more that he supports people's right to free speech in discussing revisionsism. Take Forisson for example, Chomsky didn't support what he said, but supported his right to say it. And Forisson was a full on holocaust denier. I think things like this trip to Lebanon, and greeting the Hezbolloah in a overtly antagonistic way like that, are nothing more than PR stunts for the Chomsky legacy.
In the same way the current White House administration are in love with the idea that Isreal is the cause of no evil in the world?? I can't get the link to work and in no way agree with Choamsky's perception of the world, but I don't think Isreal are lacking support amongst powerful Americans.

I'm not saying he is right for doing so, but there's a thin line and he's made it pretty clear which side he's on, albeit only just. As for self-loathing, I think that's just an adjective bandied around to devaluate the opinions of Jews who don't tow the 'party line'. But that's just my opinion, and to be honest it may not be a very well informed one. Jewish in-fighting's not really my scene

at the time of the visit Israel had ventured into Lebanon for over 6 years.... Hezbollah is a terrorist organisation that targets civilians... the man has no morals... He'd sell his soul to the devil if it meant he could drag Israels name through the dirt.

I think Israel's actions are barbaric and reprehensible but I think that's the wrong way of demonstrating it.
