It says: "Next time I see you I'm going to rape you."

Not much point going to the police as it's from a payphone.
If it's a joke I really don't see the funny side!

keep the text and note the time date etc but just leave it for now. if anything else happens then goto police as if they think its worth it they could finger print the handset they do that quiet often.

There may also be CCTV in the area that saw the person using the phone.
