they obviously plotted to get him sent off at the start when u see the headbutt from ronaldo to rooney plus when u look at the footage again, the ref comes ova to rooney, stands and points for a free kick, his body language never looked like he was gonna send rooney off until ronaldo came ova and started giving all that to the ref and then rooney pushed him, only after then did he turn to rooney and reach in his pocket and give him the card. fair enough rooney did push him n shudnt but when an opposing player goesto the referee and trys to get someone sent off, i think thats totally out of order. ronaldos a little bastard nd thats that really

Think Ronaldo was far too cute for Rooney, you don't need to be Einstein to realise that the refs at the WC were sending players off for farting, and to be honest Rooney should know better other players got sent off for far less, like Van Bronkhurst and Deco. As for Mclaren i think he's a poor manager and i fear for you, his track record is poor and given that he had one of the biggest budgets in the Premiership, he didn't do much. Personally i think Curbishley would have been the best choice or Stuart Pearce.
IMO hes not good enuff to play for United so I think getting rid of him would be a good move. Hes full of tricks but no end product, hes final ball is not good enuff neither is his goal scoring. Sell him and buy Stieger, Sosa or Kahilchenko
