Please can someone help me - not sure if its o2 or Samsung I should contact so thought might see if someone knew answer as should be straight forward...

I have changed phones from a Sony Eriksson to a Samsung Galaxy, and have simply switched my sim over into the Galaxy - I am on pay-as-you go with o2, and I can now make/receive calls & texts as normal on the same tariff.

However...I can not receive/send multimedia messages (pictures). I have searched the settings but can not find anything linked to this?

    Thanks

When you put your O2 SIM in a phone that doesn't have the O2 settings, we automatically send you them so that you can send picture messages and use internet on your mobile. Please save and activate them if asked. If you have any problems with the settings, try switching your mobile on and off.

If you need to get settings again, text ACTIVE to 2020.

Please note: O2 cannot be held responsible for any lost or changed settings that occur from this configuration process.

I did as it says but got no response so have sent them an E-Mail from the customer service website, where they respond within 24hrs. TBH if I could be arsed to call them would probably be resolved earlier.

I've sent the Internet (GPRS WAP) and picture message (MMS) settings on
your mobile phone. Please store the Internet (GPRS WAP) settings before
the picture messaging (MMS) settings. When you've saved the settings to
your phone, please switch off your mobile phone and then on it for the
    settings to take effect.

Also, you should have 17p to access the Internet and 25p to use the
    picture messages.

If there's anything else I can help you with, let me know or check our
    online help centre at
